    Passwords on Autism Forums

    You'd be surprised at some of the sites/apps that ought to hash passwords but don't. For example, I am aware of at least one electronic medical records system that stores passwords in plain text, even though that's a clear violation of HIPAA.

    When I was about 4 years old, at around the same time I was finally getting around to learning how to walk and how to talk, I figured out on my own how to play the piano by ear -- just one-finger melodies at first, and then chords. I never reached professional musician skill level, however.

    Thanks for the clarification. Will I be allowed to change the link occasionally? (My profile now has a link to a Wordpress blog, which I'll probably be linking to in my signature soon too. I'll eventually want to change it to a link to a website that I'm currently working on.)

    It seems to me that both the DSM IV terms AND the DSM 5 terms should be included, so that people diagnosed in both eras can accurately say what their diagnosis was. I do NOT think it makes sense to add them as an "a.k.a." because there is not a one-to-one correspondence between the old...
