Mindf'Elle'ness

Trying something new after the car accident I had a couple of years ago.
Struggled with being the black sheep all my life and then discovered that I may have been struggling with ADHD. Then more recently realized that I could relate to the "Sam" character on "Atypical" so much that I went on-line to do Autism tests which said that I was a high candidate for being on the spectrum. I mean the bells that went off with some of the questions were mind-blowingly relatable.
I'm no high-functioning Steve Jobs type and I'm definitely under-employed but I get by.
Since my accident I realize I want more - more relief from my anxiety, self-loathing and my attachment to thoughts, things and people that are harmful.
That's where meditation and mindfulness come in. My cognitive beliefs fight me every step of the way but I feel this is the right path and I have decades of negative behavior and abuse to overcome. This is no overnight success expectation.
