Truthful but not thinking you know the truth?

Well, that may be true, but logic does not necessarily imply that there are multiple choices. Logic is just the means of acquiring a solution by using an intelligent system. It is possible to train a person's instinct to know the correct or best logical decision so that the decisions can be made...

Truthful but not thinking you know the truth?

Yes, there are some harmless logic-free decisions. But there really aren't any harmful logic based decisions that I know of. So it is safer to tread on the ground that causes no harm, then to dance on the ground that is rarely safe.

    Free Coffee at Starbucks

I think it is a tad funny that a married guy made a thread about being terrified of women =) The nice thing about being Aspie, is that you can use your 'ways' as an excuse for a lot of things =) like if something flies over your head you can just claim that it is typical for you to not get...

    Talking To Girls or Women

Hehehe, I used to be terrified of women. Then I met a roomie who's boundaries did not exist. Obviously he had no homosexual interests but he could easily respond to homosexual trolling without flinching. He was one hell of a womanizer, dood is around 5'9" and weighs barely over 100lbs... red...

    Flexible?

Well if you got a situation like you are being told by a counsellor that you are not flexible, you should consider that you either are not being flexible or that their opinion does not matter. If their opinion does not matter, then just shrug it off and move onto whatever is next.

Truthful but not thinking you know the truth?

Well, what you need to be reminded of is that we are defining logic as the use of rationality. Basically, if we use a reason or a circumstance as a means of justifying an action we have used logic. So if I say that I went to the store to get some bread, I have used logic. Even if that logic is...

    Free Coffee at Starbucks

Are you married? If not, perhaps the free coffee is their way of flirting (although not necessarily guaranteeing anything beyond that) Ultimately I say yes, take it. If they like your kid so much they wanna hand you free coffee than enjoy =) Congradulate yourself on a well developed offspring =)

    Flexible?

Such nonsense is a socially accepted emotional behaviour - extremely lacking in thorough logical process. So the only way around this garbage is to accept the only natural fact: The mere idea that they have informed you to be flexible means that they perceive (correct or not) you to be...

Truthful but not thinking you know the truth?

Well, as humans we all use logic at some point or another. Some people use so little of it that it very nearly seems they never do. But ultimately everyone must consider things like "I need to work to get money" which is a logical deduction, however simple. For the most part, I don't think that...

    Do/Don't Blame the AS!?

Calvert: Methinks you need to view my avatar before claiming anything I say is 'supremacist'. I'm a very 'fun' person. Whenever I spout something ridiculous it should pretty much be guaranteed that I'm joking around for personal amusement. I'm a very scientific/factual person so anytime...

Truthful but not thinking you know the truth?

Everybody uses logic, they just don't use very much of it. Sometimes they use it improperly - like getting the basic rules of logic messed up. That is why we must teach it to them =)

Truthful but not thinking you know the truth?

Well perhaps you can pretty up my shpeel when telling someone why they need to be specific with definitions and such. I had a really ugly roundabout way of finally getting there but I eventually came across the point that pretty much everything in life is first assumed (like the letter 'r' or...

Truthful but not thinking you know the truth?

Yeah, I truly wish that such a concept were more generally understood. Same as common sense - I wish it were common. In a way, common sense really is just a simplified version of Logic. It is a smaller scale of smart thinking that should be possible for all people regardless of intelligence. But...

    Do/Don't Blame the AS!?

I blame the AS totally =) - for me being awesome! "I am Curtis, and I am from Aspergia! I come to your land to seek out the world. I have a higher IQ than you NT people, but my imperfect understanding of your local language will sometimes hide that fact. I will reorganize your shtuff, I will...
