    Thank you for your share. Much of this aligns with much of what I’ve been learning for about 3 months now in Al-Anon, and in past week, I’ve been struggling. It was a good reminder I needed and logging on and seeing this as the first post under “new posts” is very interesting.

    Oof. 😅 I have a tendency to shoot off half baked, maybe too deadpan comments online and it’s a bad habit. I was just trying to say “I’ve barely heard of him too”. I definitely wasn’t trying to put that negatively. I was thankful for what they did.

    I have a ~20 gal/75 L storage bin of old stuff my parents held on to for me. Probably the most treasured is a handful of Littlest Pet Shop figurines. I loved collecting/playing with those as a kid.

    Overall, this thread has been interesting, but a big note about Dr. Amen: his approach is controversial within his field and has been called a snake oil salesman.
