    Standing desks

    I've determined that if I ever get a desk job I'm going to see if I can have a standing desk. I seem to feel more comfortable working while standing than sitting. I guess I don't have to lean over that way.

    "we don’t fully understand (until taught)" That sounds like me sometimes. I have to be explained in detail sometimes about things which others might pick up quickly.

    I used to go to support groups and the psychiatrist who organized one of the groups diagnosed me at about eight. We called it a nonverbal learning disorder when I was in high school. It wasn't until college when we truly started calling it Aspergers.

    I find prayer helps me de-stress. It helps knowing there is someone who loves me and will always be there. I also like time alone to think it out. Your mention of pets is good. They say pets can lower blood pressure. I also listen to music to calm me down. Usually jazz or classical.

    Reminds me of my problem of understanding what is usually viewed as common sense. It takes me longer to understand. I have to be explained such things rather than being expected to already know. Not always, but I have a history.

    I have an uncle from Arkansas, so he used to follow the Razorbacks. He followed the Chiefs until he was mocked for following a bad team, so he switched to the Chargers, who were doing well at the time. He's been a fan ever since.

    Getting into exercising

    Sounds great. I had surgery recently and my mom told me to walk across the backyard back-and-forth to get my legs back to full strength before a big trip I went on. I've tried to do walks each day ever since. It feels good.
