    When you were a kid/teenager, did people think . . .

No, but I got **** on quite frequently. I had my group of friends so I can't complain too much. I used to be fat, and was awkward. Physical bullying did not happen too much because I was bigger than most people. It was mostly teasing about weight or just outright shunning. Sometimes I fought...

Your obsessions when you were a child? (Or your child's obsessions?)

One that I have always stuck with has been exercise. A physical training regimen is not hard to stick too as an aspie. It became my routine. And we all know about routines ;). In fact a lot of people in the lifting community share my weirdness. Hehe. oh and saying "various different" was...

    What is your dream job?

A 2nd string kicker or punter in the NFL. think about it Really, though I'm not sure. I'm into bodybuilding/powerlifting/weight training. Being a famous competitor in a sport like that and showing that someone on the spectrum can do it would be wonderful on top of the fame, cash and...

    What are your sensory issues?

a few things, but loud noises are very bad for me. wasn't to fond of big fireworks or monster trucks when i was younger. Attempting to go to the shooting range was stressful as well. probably the loudest noises I have ever heard in my life.

    Hello

My name is Karl, I'm 21 and I'm from Michigan. It is nice to find a place with other people who deal with Asperger's syndrome and understand how frustrating it is. How is everyone?

Dwelling on mistakes made in the past

This is something that has troubled me throughout my young adult life. Has this led to breakdowns, panic attacks or self mutilation for anyone else? I will remember exact details from, say, teasing in high school and it will bother me so much that it will lead to a full on panic attack even...
