    Agreed. I think it's fair to say they may have been autistic, but no more than that. I find it absurd that people put in serious discussion about whether fictitious characters are autistic.

    I tend to shy away from anyone who seems too flashy. Billy Graham was about the only "TV preacher" I wasn't suspicious of. Granted, I don't watch a lot of broadcast TV these days, religious or otherwise. I do watch my mom's church's youtube livestream because she can't physically go there...

    I have known a few doctors who openly attribute someone's recovery as a miracle. These were cases where the doctor did everything possible, but "knew" the case was hopeless.

    Pretty much when they die. You're always their kid. My 90 year old mother still fusses over me and I'm 67.

    I'm so disinterested in sports I don't watch the fans either. It's likely I wouldn't have liked sports anyway because of my dyspraxia, but the way the "jocks" treated me in mandatory PE classes absolutely ensured that I would despise any organized sport thenceforth.

    By the time I first heard the word 'socializing', I already knew it wasn't for me (except one on one with similar interests, which didn't seem to fit the definition)
