NT traits being more recent in homo sapiens evolution

What you are getting at is that both NT and ND fit cohesively into a society. Which I agree. I prefer Asperger's and social human as terms instead of ND / NT. In the traditional caste system of European society there was priest, warrior, and working castes. To me "neurodivergent" Asperger's...

So, I think I'm autistic and I need some input

There are other much better terms to use than aspie to describe us. But using such accurate historical terms would likely get our posts removed from this website. Also I think the same as you do about aspie, but about autist. When I think autist I think ASD3 as do many people. Giving ASD1/2 and...

So, I think I'm autistic and I need some input

I believe ASD1 is not autism but Asperger’s syndrome. So that is 2/3 of us that believe ASD1 is not autism therefor the majority believe ASD1 is not autism.

NT traits being more recent in homo sapiens evolution

I love this subject. The evolutionary history of Asperger's Syndrome is marvelous. However I do disagree with you pretty much completely. Neurotypicals are just that, typical. They are normal mammalian humans, social humans. As social mammals they live in a hierarchy that is directly a result...

What are your controversial opinions regarding the autism spectrum?

I've never met someone who denied the existence of Asperger's Syndrome because of Nazi's. Those people must be quite unintelligent to take the propaganda regarding AS and Hans Asperger at face value, let alone use it for social brownie points.

What are your controversial opinions regarding the autism spectrum?

ADHD and ASD are nothing alike. ADHD is the brain properly navigating through a faulty environment ( as these kids with ADHD were meant to have stimulating lives that gave their body plenty of reasons to produce norepinephrine / noradrenaline, which is proven to "cure" ADHD ). ASD is when you...

What are your controversial opinions regarding the autism spectrum?

Correlating Aspergers and ASD directly harms people with Aspergers. It continues the line of thought that it is a disability, and that you have something stopping you from learning social skills. Autism defined is literally "the effected has brain damage that disrupts their ability to learn...

Brilliant Aspie son won't do simple homework

I was in a similar situation to your son when I was 15. I dropped out of school at the beginning of 10th grade, I barely passed 9th grade due to frequent absences. The reason he doesn’t do homework is a purely logical decision. He already knows the subject material, so why does he have to slave...
