    Can you swim?

I love swimming and was taught by my aunty at the age of 3 or 4, our whole family used to go swimming together most Sundays. I'm proficient in all strokes and competed in school

Just got diagnosed with high functioning ASD

I wondered what that meant too, I'm not sure of the statistical split but there's other women like us with Aspie diagnosis.

    Hi, new here, from UK.

Welcome welcome! I'm from the north east (Scotland) but currently live in sweden. I hope you find answers to your questions or a space to call home with fellow aspies :-)

    Need advice. Help please :)

I had to fight to be allowed to get a provisional license in sweden due to my diagnosis that I'm an aspie. I was called after a job interview and offered the job although the offer was quickly withdrawn when I explained it hadn't come up but that I was an aspie. I've also been dumped by a...

Judge has done a great job of explaining any giving insight into your situation. Reading about your emotional state, arguments your having and the way your boyfriend is reacting I feel anxious as if I was there. If I were involved in the relationship I know I'd be having all kinds of melt...

    Does this sound like Aspergers/Autism?

I'm sorry for saying your comment was harsh, I obviously misunderstood your comment. You can be as offended as you like with my terminology. I have only got a diagnosis 18 months ago and with a family of nts I am unaware of terminology.

    I am Diane

I sneak (by sneaking I refer to slowly walking on my tip toes across the room with my arms positions in a cartoon cat burglar way) or twist a portion of my hair or curl a tissue into a roll from one corner to another.

    Does this sound like Aspergers/Autism?

I was referring to your none sense comment. I'm aware my dyslexia has nothing to do with my aspies. The point I was actually trying to make was I recieved a diagnosis even though I don't possess some of the documented aspie traits.

I was in a terribly horrible abusive relationship. Now I don't mean your relationship is abusive but I got to a point in the relationship of rather a realisation were I had to take stock of what I giving compared to what I was recieving. At some point I had to decide whether he was worth my...
