    Autism, age and lonelyness

    I think it commonplace for people in their 70s and older to be lonely particularly if their partner has died. Those aspies who love solitude will fare well but others who crave attention and company will suffer social pain.

    I'm in my fifties and I been on the autism scene since I was diagnosed about eight years ago. I like attending aspie-led groups primarily in Scotland but also North England. I've worked as a full time designer for about 27 years.
