Is a toaster oven worth it?

If you dedicate some time to becoming a skilled home chef, maybe your dad will be a lot easier on you. Good food makes people happy and the aroma of a delicious, tasty meal in the works is very powerful. Anyways, isolating yourself in a room more is not the solution in the long run! Assuming...

    Mixing / Mastering music

I don't think that's the case. Besides the Harman Target Curve, I have not noticed a specific pattern in frequency responses here in the headphone world I live in. Also, good audio has gotten A LOT cheaper and accessible over the past decade. When I started trying headphones 8 years ago, all big...

Which approaches help you more when memorizing new material?

Associations are definitely one of the most powerful ways of memorizing. Personally, my secret is to take a picture or screenshot of some material such as a page from a book and load it in a jigsaw puzzle program. 100-150 pieces works just fine. Works like a charm

    Mixing / Mastering music

I don't know much about guitar amps so I assume you're saying that the amps have gotten louder over the years. Is that right?

    Mixing / Mastering music

I do not master music, I am primarily a listener. Listening to an album after the 2000s is a complete dice roll for me. Modern mastering has made music so loud that it fatigues me after the first song.

A Sense of Mental Dead End

When I have trouble getting things done at home, going to the library or a public space always helps me. Try finding an environment where you feel less distracted.

What would be your dream house if money were not an issue?

My main living space would be a 2 story cabin with an Olympic sized lap pool somewhere in rural America. It must be near New Jersey so I can be closer to family. I also need a second home in Japan, preferably in Oosaka. I want the convenience of living in a city without having to deal with BS...

Is that one of those tiny Mac keyboards?

    Quake 3 Phase (Again)

I started playing Quake 3 like games again such as Quake Live, Openarena, and Quake Champions. My favorite gamemode is duel. No other game gets me thinking so hard, maybe besides Go. I wish more people played because truly these games are the best competitive shooters ever made.

Connections or coincidences? Premonition or random experiences?

I am a logic biased thinker. Coincidences don't make sense to me. From my perspective, it's just life, and estimating things the like possibility of coincidences is impossible and unproductive.

    Obsession with characters and fanfiction

Growing up I used to have restless nights where I'd day dream about being a character. These were continuous stories.

Lack of eye contact in public

I used to follow a similar strategy. Nowadays I mostly look away when I'm thinking.
