Journalist query: Studies of "subtypes" of autism

@Michael Marshall I did not see in the original post anything about feedback. Will the researchers give feedback?

What video game are you currently playing?

I have absolutely loved playing Astroneer and have amounted to some 1,000 hours playtime. But I'm currently playing Ball X Pit, and today my nephew bought me Arc Raiders to play with him. It's actually really good but without the hassle of having to be careful and watching your back. There's...

The one thing I wish I could change

And two hours later I'm out of the rabbit hole. I didn't even know it was a thing, I thought it was just me. So many reasons for it, all of them incredibly bad, but mostly from trauma.

    Yes strictly it's outdoors, but...

Wow that's strict. Nothing like it is in the UK. I was stopped once for speeding, and yes it was on the motorbike, I was doing 65 in a 30 zone. Similar speed-gun too, but the officer was brilliant. He only gave me an SP30, so 3 points and £60 fine. Of course I was fascinated by the job, and...

@Outdated I'd love to give your post a double thumbs-up. Aussie instant karma is my favourite kind, and the roar of the police cars. What are they? Certainly V probably V-8 or maybe V-12, man do they sound nice though. Someone took Mad Max literally. Another brilliant film though, and very...

    Yes strictly it's outdoors, but...

LOL so true. It's funny, it absolutely infuriates me to watch bad driving on YouTube, but I also can't stop watching it. I do plan on riding again next year, but I do think of the safety aspect.

    Yes strictly it's outdoors, but...

I was nervous for around 6 months, and I did ride year round in the UK, so some horrible weather too. Once I relaxed I noticed the peace, and I even slowed down my riding and enjoyed it even more. For a ride around Yorkshire they're fantastic, I couldn't imagine going more than 100 miles at a...

The one thing I wish I could change

You've no idea (or maybe you do) how incredible it feels to know others feel the same and have had the same experiences.

^ This. Sorry, I posted this as a monologue, now I think it would make a good question to all, so here it is: What would you change about yourself, something hard but possible?

    Yes strictly it's outdoors, but...

I used to ride motorbikes, and after computers it was focus, even hyper-focus. I stopped in 2004 because my job as a HGV driver meant I needed to carry a LOT of gear for tramping (living in the wagon all week). So I needed a car. But I'm hoping soon my path is back to riding motorbikes in and...

Something You Did Today, That Most People Would Think Is Weird

Walked around the supermarket, hood up, headphones blaring, I even got a hearing warning from my phone. Normal for me, but not normal judging by the looks I got. Also it's Friday, I NEVER shop on a Friday, it's too busy.

List just one thing you did today

I went shopping at my local supermarket, and for the first time in decades (no exaggeration) I got everything I wanted in one go. Granted it wasn't a huge list, just what I can fit in a rucksack, but still an achievement for me.

I am looking to build myself up by this time next year so I can go mountain hiking.

I used to be (before I burnt out) was incredibly fit. But I never went to the gym. I hate the places, too many people, too many show-offs. Getting fit is actually easy and you can do it at home and without any equipment, though a barbell and dumbbells will help with strength later on. For...
