    Locally called a big red. Highly dangerous. When they rear up to kick they are generally over 6 ft tall. I’d not go anywhere near one. Left alone they will graze peacefully.

    Saw this when walking locally. (yarra ranges, melbourne.) After some research I identified it as a Juvenile rufus night heron. About 50cm tall.

    This version of ‘all I want for xmas is you’ I will listen to. 🤘 When I was last in hospital over xmas it helped me quite a bit.

    I am good at asking people about themselves. Once they start talking it’s easy to ask questions and feign interest. This works well. People think i’m a great conversationalist. That is until I get bored and drop in clangers to amuse myself! I usually can resist, If it’s a stranger not so much.
