    feeling nervous and like everybody's looking at you when your out on your own

    thanx for the advice :) i 've only occasionly made conversastion with somone whilst smoking and that was a very rare occasion for me. i sometimes feel like a right numpty when i'm standing outside trying to light up a ciggy and my lighter doesn't work, so i'm stood there for like five minutes...

    i feel like a total outsider because i lack freinds

    i'm 22 now. at school everyone had freinds because they were considered normal compared to me, they still had freinds years later, i feel very depressed sometimes that i can't hang out with anyone like me because there arn't many aspergers people in my area, i hjave my freinds from work but...

    thank you for your reply and advice, i also get quite scared when i meet new people, like you i do smoke ciggarettes and that kind of relaxes me i'll just keep telling myself it's all in my head , because i know people aren't looking at me but when i feel like that i just want to run and hide...

    :( so every week day i get up and get the bus to work and when i get of the bus i have about five minutes which takes me to where i walk, now i've been doing this for three years. the hard thing as soon as i sit down on the bus i can get really nervous and my eyes twitch like they are itching...

    :thumbsup: hi everyone i'm alex from wiltshire and i was diagnosed with aspergers when i was born, im 22 and do voluntry work at the moment i'm fun loving and just trying to meet new people and look forward to maybe posting more on here
