    Sounds like she has a wrongly preconceived notion of who you are & reacts to what she thinks "that" person means instead of what you mean. I'm sorry she does this. It's not kind. & it's such a hard cycle to break out of. I wish you success & peace in your situation.

    Thank you! I feel the same way. I've always felt like a burden, like I wasn't trying hard enough. It is amazing how much kinder I am to myself since I looked outwardly & found there are others like me & they are wonderful the way they are. Now that I realize I have compulsions & tendencies...
