What I call a sense of humour has helped me to get along in life mostly.
I have been described as intense.
I like to say that I am a passive/aggressive type.
I married when I was 44 and have 2 great children...a girl 9 and a boy 4.
My wife pointed me in the Asperger direction after chatting with her friends whose hubby also displays these symptoms but is still in the "Denial" stage.
I am grateful for knowing that I have something and that this is not just "who I am" take it or leave it blah blah..
My obsessive behaviour allows me to focus powerfully on researching this to death and I will try every avenue to become less Aspie although there are a lot about being Aspie that I prefer over "normality".
Or it could just be that I feel comfortable in my "shell" ......
