    Travel

    I love travelling. The sensory experiences create some badly needed dopamine. But I get flustered rather easily. To counteract that, I like to be thorough when I make travel plans, to leave as little as possible to chance. Am I the only one? Let's share stories.

    Already I sound like a control freak! But no way would I wish to control others. It's just that I like to have order in my own life. I guess I feel that things can get quickly out of control if I don't pay attention to all the details...

    Hmmm...I know I am, anyway. In fact maybe all Aspies are accepting, helpful and kind. I’ve never thought about it much before. Sounds naive but I think it might be generally true.

    Thanks for the welcomings. Funny how it only takes a few kind people to say hello and it gives you the inspiration to continue. Funny also that I should feel “normal” talking to a group like this - safe and understood. Acceptance is the one area where I have struggled, always feeling the odd one...
