    Recently diagnosed. A weight has been lifted

    diagnosis in my old age at 68 was a huge relief. I learned everything was not "all my fault" and learned how to build a better life. I suddenly had answers to all those "whys" of the past and things began to make sense. Living my best life ever, since diagnosis. I am 70 now. Cheering you on!

    Being REJECTED from a group for being autistic

    look up "rejection sensitive dysphoria" It is easy to get into the habit of believing others are always out to get you, hate you, or are mean and cruel when you exprience those things continually. We can get hyper vigilant about it and defensive too.

    Is it just me.

    FB info collection and marketing is aggressive and continual changes are annoying but I have found there are a few nice supportive autism groups there too. I am not able to use pages with moving stuff on them , videos, youtubes, etc, so it works well for me. FB pretty much IS my social life...
