    Irrational Fears??

I think I worded that wrong... I don't have a fear of blood or bloody knives. I meant that seeing a person's eye wide has the same effect on me as if the person was coming at me with a bloody knife. It scares me really bad and has been a trigger for meltdowns before.

    Irrational Fears??

Okay, so I was wondering if any of you had any crazy irrational fears.... I have a weird fear of eyes being wide. Like seeing the whites of peoples eyes above and below their iris....specifically above has the same effect on me as a person holding a bloody knife. It scares me really bad and I...

The Figure of Speech That You Dislike The Most

No, its a different one. It definitely has something about a door in it. I can never remember the exact wording on it.

The Figure of Speech That You Dislike The Most

Oh, I came up with two more: First is the way people like to use synonyms for death. It's like they're uncomfortable saying that someone died. They have to say passed away, passed on, or is no longer with us. I don't get it. Do they think that the death will not be real if they just keep...

The Figure of Speech That You Dislike The Most

I can't stand figurative speech. I remember when I was in school before I was diagnosed with aspergers and the teachers were teaching us figurative speech. I never could understand why they would use personification and idioms because they seemed like such a waste of time...its like using 3...

Do you stim? If so, what are your stims?

I have several stims....depending on how I feel. I'm glad I'm homeschooled because it wouldnt go over well if I was in school. When I get really excited I flap my hands....particularly when I talk about my chickens (or brackie chickies as I call them) or when I talk about my horse. When I'm...

Do you do the Aspie Stare?

I smile in photos but my smile is always different then anyone else. I used to think it was stupid and made me look weird because no one else in the family would do it. But now I consider it my aspie smile and so I dont mind it any more.

    Make Believe Friends?

Did any of you ever have make believe/invisible friends when you were younger? All the way up to I think about 4th grade I had invisible friends. I would love to play with my invisible friends. From preschool to 1st grade I had make believe friends named NayNay, GoGo, NayNayGoGo, and...

When did you realize that you're different for the 1st time?

I dont know when it was that I first felt different. I think it was probably in preschool. I went to a Waldorf preschool which was very different from normal preschools. I never played with the kids my age, but instead I would enjoy playing with the teacher's dog or cat or just playing on my...
