    Dysgraphia

My handwriting isn't great, but it doesn't really effect my day-to-day life anymore. All my Uni work needs to be typed up anyway. I'm also fine when it comes to filling in forms, as I can take my time. Taking notes is difficult, though, as I have to rush my writing and then I make a mess of...

    Death

My dad died about a year ago after being in hospital for a week. It was very sudden. When I first found out, I couldn't believe it. I just felt dumb. However, I didn't cry. As much as I really cared about my dad, I didn't cry. It's almost like part of me expected it. Even during the...

There are a lot of Brits here....

Going back to something that was said earlier, I'm personally not a fan of the word 'Aspie'. I don't mind others using it, but I avoid it myself. It just sounds a bit patronising to me. I usually just say "I have Aspergers" when I mention my condition. As for 'NT', while I'm aware of what it...

    Your average day?

Uni Days: Get up about 2 hours before lectures, walk to Uni 30 mins before lectures, attend the lecture(s), go back to my house, do stuff I want (or need to do) until about 2 in the morning, sleep. Non-Uni Days: Get up whenever the heck I feel like it, do what I whatever I want (or any work I...

    Acceptance

Well, I was diagonosed with some kind of autism from a very early age, so I've always known I've been 'different'. At times, I kind of wish I didn't have aspergers, but then I think about how I could have turned out if I didn't have it. So yeah, I think I've pretty much accepted it. :D

    Julio is here

Reason: It's a safety measure. The world can't contain its awesomeness for too long, so its made to go flat after a certain amount of time. If it didn't, the world would explode. Probably.

I would pass the Pepsi Challenge with flying colours. XD There's a clear difference.

    greetings

Christ, didn't think I'd see Suiseiseki being mentioned on this board. XD For anyone wondering, she's probably the most famous character for saying 'Desu', but there are numerous others. They're usually very proper and polite characters. I think they keep on getting thrown in because certain...

    Traits you don't follow

I can do eye contact now. Wasn't always able to, mind. It still feels a little bit odd, but I feel better doing it because it's generally the done thing. I also understand metaphors. Can't really remember having any difficulty with them. I'm generally alright with routine, but I can feel...

    Japanese obsession

'Japanophile' is probably the least offensive term out of the two, though. In general, 'weeaboo' is used by people who think people like that should 'get a life'. That's not always the case, mind. I know a Steam group that proudly call themselves 'The Weeaboutique'.
