    Who diagnosed you and why ?

    I was diagnosed by one of the doctors at a psych hospital, though it took a while before she realized what was really going on. If you feel you need to take the step of getting officially diagnosed, I say go for it.

    Your experience on buses sounds very similar to mine. If someone sits by me, or if there's a large crowd on the bus, I'll start feeling extremely agitated. It's not fun.

    Autism in the workplace: 'Always thought you were a bit weird'

    I never really had a problem with telling people about having Asperger's. The people who are really important in my life don't mind it, and as for the ones who do think I'm weird, their friendship isn't what I need, anyway.

    Hey everyone! I'm Amanda, and I've just joined. I was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome about a year and a half ago. I love80s music, tigers, music, and other such things like that. Can't wait to meet y'all around the board!
