I was trying to teach him "outside" or "soto" in Japanese. Towards the end I said "soto ikitai" which means I want to go outside. He's definitely trying and I take it as a good sign.
What were you saying to him? It sounded to me like there was some vowel variation in what he said, in addition to the consonants.

Even the smaller ones are bigger than the ones I used to pick, also a different color. The colors on those make them almost look like currant berries.

The spores are on the little hairs and rub off when you touch it. The hairs are soft and flexible. I’ve never seen anything like it either
