Pittsburgh International Dragway

Cecil township was the home of PID that offered my my first experience with racing on a quarter mile track.
This is an actual picture of the track with the Chrondek timing tree that started every race.

PID was a part of the short lived NASCAR Dragracing Division in the late sixties
The staging light is about where the man is standing and ends a quarter mile away where the center line ends and the pavement changes color.
One quarter mile feels like a million when you are side by side and the clock is ticking away :D
