One good hit and the new throwing axe nearly split my target in two.

One good hit and the new throwing axe nearly split my target in two.

A little too much weight to be a throwing weapon unless it's at something you want to destroy.
I thought that was the general point of any weapon? You could always dull the edge and learn to dodge the rebound, action and reaction being equal and opposite!

It was Amazon selling shin guards earlier made me smile. Buy two, get one free. I'm Jake the Peg diddle-iddle-iddle-um, with my extra leg, diddle-iddle-iddle-um...

@Rahere yes, it is a good weapon, but not something I can readily practice with, without killing trees. I like to familiarize myself with my tools. I used it as a splitting hatchet for kindling and it worked extremely well, so that and or a mantle piece is what it will be used for.
