MOPAR,short for motor parts was the parts division for America made Dodge,Plymouth and Chrysler in this era. This is a dealership for Plymouth cars which are no longer made.
Mopar is now the parts division of Dodge,Chrysler.Fiat and Jeep.

Mopar,slow car,rather have no car was how the Ford and Chevy guys described them in competition...In actuality,the 426 cubic inch Chrysler hemi engine's physical dimensions and limited to 500 cubic inch displacement has produced the highest rated horsepower of any car engine ever produced in the estimated level of 10,000 horsepower which is quite considerably more than the 425 the production hemi was rated at.
