kestrel In the fall and winter months, especially - like you're the only one there. It's a popular spot for dog walking when the weather is warmer though.

pluses and minuses to the seasons, but sure looks great nevertheless. Having just moved, I don't know much yet about the places to walk here. Another month and the forest will be free of goopy melting snow, and then I can explore a bit. :)

kestrel I love walking there, even when it's a big great mudpool. Usually my dog tags along, and in those instances the other seasons are kinder to the backseat of the car.
I hope the nature in your area will be peaceful :)

Dogs are so good at getting dirt or mud everywhere lol. I need to get some inexpensive hiking boots that I don't mind getting all muddy. Thanks, I hope to find a trail that will give me a couple hours good fast walking and/or jogging. I miss having a dog. Someday my cats are going have to accept a new canine member of the family. :)
