whats the name of the place where you volunteer ? and how do you like it ? i enjoy walking the dogs.

It doesn't have a special name, just my local one. I enjoy it so much! I usually walk the small dogs or old dogs, or any I get a good vibe from. I don't have the confidence to walk pit bulls though, they are strong pullers and dog reactive. They are cute though. But thankfully there's other people on my shift that like walking them.
Does your shelter rescue animals other than dogs or cats? Mine doesn't.

I don't like pit bulls everyone i have ever seen acted or seemed like it didn't like me. at the moment sunny skys only rescues dogs and cats and what i like about sunny skys is they are a no kill shelter :) heres sunny skys website http://sunnyskysshelter.org/

Mine is a no kill also. I'll show you the website of mine in a private message so that the internet doesn't know. I haven't had a great experience with pits so far, the first time I was being trained, the pitbull I was walking bit the trainer lady, because there was a dog behind her and it took the anger out on her. I think it is great for people to adopt ones in need, just have to be cautious around them. Anyway, my family adopted a Chihuahua from there, and she's my best friend now.

@8398 I would like to see the website of where you volunteer. Pit bulls were breed for fighting and to me they are no good maybe there are some good ones out there but ive never meet them. whats your Chihuahuas name and wasn't the taco bell mascot from the 90's a chihuahua ?

Haha yes I heard it was the mascot! My Chihuahua's name is Talula. Mine is the Willamette humane society, not a ton of dogs there at the moment. Always lots of cats though. How often do you volunteer?

what does the name Talula mean ? i try to volunteer at least 4 times a month. sunny skys requires a minimum of 10 hours a month of volunteer time. sunny skys is ran on their own they get no help from the government which is nice.
