The puzzle piece is probably one of the most recognizable icons that represent autism, so expect to see a lot of bizarre puzzle imagery here.

In today case, we have the silhouette of a person and the view inside the brain is a the typical puzzle of colors that don't really match... and this by the way is my biggest problem with this puzzle graphics, just because the shape match, does not means the pieces go together. After you put the pieces together there should be a picture that makes sense.

For those that are not aware, the puzzle piece means autism is something to be solved, like a puzzle...

So in the spirit of autism awareness, if you have autism now you can be aware that there is people that look this way at the way you think.

I was never to familiar with the puzzle piece analogy.

If you ask me though I think NT's fit this comparison far more than we do. I honestly think they give away the plot on themselves far more than they realize.

Well, that is the meaning giving by the people that first used the puzzle piece to represent autism, back in the 1963. This is when they though that "solving autism" means finding a cure for it.

Yes I'm familiar now, thanx for the reminder. :):)

It just baffles me about the layers of subtext I infer from these sorts of slogans.
