About me:
I'm an autistic mom to an autistic son and a golden retriever, a former Jehovah's Witness, a current atheist, an avid reader, a lifelong learner, and a survivor. I've experienced child abuse, sexual assault, and domestic violence. I like being autistic. I don't like having trauma.
This blog is an attempt at trying to make sense of my life and experiences as a person with autism and CPTSD. I will present my experiences haphazardly as they come to me, like a kaleidoscope, with no chronological order or method - sometimes as a story in the third person and, at other times, as a journal entry. My brain is chaotic and unorganized, so any blog about me should be, too. It will contain triggering stuff, but I will try to include trigger warnings whenever appropriate.
