As an autistic person, I find that I can work myself into a fairly intense mental spiral sometimes, dwelling on either current sources of pain, or past ones. This almost inevitably leads me to doubt my self, my worth, my life's path. And this leads to getting locked in my head, spiraling further and reinforcing these negative images of my relationship with the rest of the world.
A regular meditative practice has helped me break this cycle in the past. I hope to write here regularly to discuss my meditative practice, and maybe provide help to others who are interested or curious about what meditation can do for them.
