I think whoever came up with the idea for sites likes these should get a medal. It's great to know, that no matter how down we might feel, or lonely, isolated etc; there are always those out there, just like ourselves, who are trapped if that's the right word I am looking for, in a lifestyle which consists mostly of : being on our own. So, when I'm waiting for the next part of my mundane routine to end, or if I get fidgety, I can just visit the site for say an hr or so & then get back to what I'm doing again in real life. Without having to explain ones life story, or feel awkward in any way. Ie; not having to live up to the expectations of normal people, or feel obliged to them in some way, such as keeping up with the conversation etc.
