Asperger's and depression

Blog details

Have many of you out there been through a major depression in your lifetime? I think if you have the condition, you are more likely to experience depression as well. A major depression to me is one that causes one not to function normally and lasts more than just a few days or a week, usually months. I believe I have had 2 or 3 major depressions in my life and I am in the middle of one now. Every day is an uphill battle just to function and keep the desire to live. It is very difficult to find the light in the darkness that is consuming me, like fighting a battle I'll never win. Any thoughts would be appreciated
