I'm Benjamin... I live in Oregon and I'm a confirmed Aspie.... I was diagnosed when I was 17 by my PCP and then saw one of the best Neuropsychologist's in the United States who did a battery of testing that took 5 days and was 6 hours long each day.

Anyways I have always struggled with social interaction with peers and when I learned of the background of AS everything added up.

I'm now slowly getting involved Aspie communities and also I am on a advisory committee for individuals with developmental disabilities that helps advise state and federal government on their needs.

Welcome aboard to Aspies Central forums. :D

Do you tend to find it easier to interact with a person on the internet than you actually do irl?

Welcome! I'm interested to hear that you are on an advisory committee. What kinds of things have you suggested?
