Hate glasses too. What i found is a good way of cleaning them is literally washing them with soap and water and then dry with paper. Then they are actually clean.

I know how you feel, I never needed glasses until I was in my 40s but now I can hardly see anything without them. I have many pairs because it's easy to lose them or to sit on them. To clean them properly run hot water over them for a minute or so then dry them with a very soft cloth.

I never needed to wear glasses with a prescription until about 4 or 5 years ago. Now I wear them all of the time. I find it difficult to motivate myself to clean them, so often I have to put up with them being a bit smeared.

I keep a micro fibre cloth next to my computer to give the glasses a rough clean when they need it, which is way too often. Eventually though you just end up smearing the grease around instead of wiping it off, that's when I get up and use hot water.

I have trouble handling not having them on. I like to be able to see where I'm going. And yes, soap and water seem to be best for cleaning them.

LOL...I try not to tolerate them. But I wear them anyways. Three pairs...one for the computer, one for driving and the other for everything else.

Less annoying than contact lenses that I wore for about ten years.

I used to hate mine, I tried for years to get by without them, but now I can’t see.
I agree with all the other suggestions for cleaning and caring for them.

"They smear up if you exist in the same room as them too hard and nothing ACTUALLY cleans them properly."
I just rinse them with really hot tap water and dry them with a towel.

@Crossbreed I'd tried that a bunch of times before, and it never seemed to work. I'm wondering now if maybe the material I'm using to wipe them is part of the problem.
