Here courier companies have given up getting people to use their finger to sign on a touch screen because no one can do it and too many people were able to dispute that the signature wasn't theirs. Now they take a photo of you holding your package instead.

I think about that all the time in editing images. Always using my mouse, having only dreamed of using a pad and stylus. Yet knowing that even then there's no guarantee of one being able to master the use of such things in the absence of a pencil and pen, as you have pointed out.

The stupid thing is, it wasnt even the pen having the problem. That works fine. It's the apps that dont work. Like I was trying to just zoom in a bit and move the view, but the whole thing would just blink into the corner or bounce all over the place, just bugging out.

Or there's something like Procreate, with a "minimalist" design, AKA all the functions are hidden behind esoteric and awkward motions that I'm supposed to magically know. Just put the functions on the freaking screen... ugh
