This woman once showed up at my doorstep acting all hysterical after I hung up the phone on her when she was making extremely offensive statements towards me. She legitimately scares me with her lack of boundaries.

Don't open the door? She can be hysterical behind the doors all she wants. it's you who gives her deeds power. She is what... like 70 year old granny? She can't do anything to you.

She once admitted to me that she tried to have me involuntarily committed to a psychiatric ward because I was considering changing careers. That's how insane she is.

So what? She tried and you weren't admitted, as i said she can't do anything to you. She has no power over you, she just behaves like a total dumbass, and you continue doing with her "yes mom, okay mom." Every week you are writing here how you must break cycle with mother, yadayada, yet you still continue communicating with her. What are you waiting for?
