Vinegar kills fungii too, where as chlorine based chemicals do not. Use vinegar to clean places like your shower recess.

I used vinegar water 50/50 for when I leave clothes in washing machine too long. Soak the clothes and spray the barrel

Interesting. Looked it up online to see what would be claimed:

"Vinegar has some antibacterial properties and can kill certain bacteria, such as E. coli and Salmonella, but it is not effective against all pathogens, including viruses like COVID-19. It is better used as a cleaner rather than a disinfectant."
