steak=gout=pain

I allow myself very little red meat on a monthly basis. Lean ground beef. I haven't had steak in years, but then I also have reflux that makes steak impossible to enjoy compared to ground beef.

I wish I could actually eat steak, let alone afford the cost. Oh well...

Why does everything I love equals to gout?

Dude..I hear THAT! Makes me sick to recently discover more things I had to add to that list. Cream of any kind....sour cream, whipped cream. And especially anything with high fructose corn syrup. The only steak I've been able to eat was the kind in little bits and pieces in burritos. Shredded beef in tacos will make me sick...<reflux>
