@tree You're always the contrarian.
@Tony Ramirez Truly beautiful people are very rare. I can't remember the last time I interacted with one. I don't think I ever have. They're the ones that are paid to be on yachts, flown out to Dubai, etc (to do God knows what).
@thejuice Yup. It really amplifies their abilities. Even just looking at them produces joy.

@tree The issue with physically deformed people is it is very likely that focus on them is done from pity and so is manufactured and unnatural. Admiring and being inspired by beautiful people is natural and biological, so pure.

Contrarianism is what we do best 😀 but I agree that we like looking at beautiful people. Even babies will gaze at beautiful people over ugly people. If an actor is ugly they're usually cast as the bad guy or eccentric or comedic. They must be exceptionally talented if placed in a lead role. Hard to be an ultra successful musician, if you have a face for radio in the music video age too.

Sad but true.

@Zain
Help me out here.
I was thinking of the psychological resilience that so many of the people on that show demonstrate.
As the intro says *with the power of hope & love, and modern medicine* these people overcome
challenging situations.

How does seeing beautiful people inspire you?

@thejuice Yep. It is brutal. In the future, I reckon we'll one day reach a point where everyone will look the same if our goal is to eliminate bias, favouritism, etc. It'll be artificial, but world seems to be getting more and more so.

@tree A manufactured slogan. The whole purpose at the essence of it is to generate money and profit. It plays on peoples' pity and compassion. If it wasn't profitable, it'd be cancelled. There's no virtue in pain and psychological resilience as it doesn't really mean anything. It's natural to avoid discomfort, and those who are genetically gifted go through less or very little of it.

I've never watched Body Bizarre so I don't know what it's like. Some of these shows have mixed messages and are given titles that have 'freakshow' undertones. See: "The undateables" and "600lb life". The latter portraying the obese as thick and ignorant and taking candid, lurid shots of them naked. Modern freakshow, on the TV instead of a travelling circus. Fat phobia is the last socially acceptable prejudice.

@Zain . It's their body to ruin, but when I see beautiful people give in to peer pressure and try to look like something out of a bland magazine it bewilders me. Make something like plastic surgery expensive, seem like a luxury and give it to celebs and influencers for free and the sheep will want it too. Walking filters.

@thejuice Yup, it's sad when that happens. Fortunately, truly beautiful people won't fall for that because of all the positive reinforcement they get. I think when celebrities and richer people get old, they start to panic. If they just kept a healthy diet and lifestyle, they'd look much better much longer.

@Zain Thank you for your replies.
I am still lost regarding the inspirational aspect of physically beautiful people.
Please clarify.
Zain
Zain
@tree It's a natural aspect of living. We see a beautiful person, we get happy, want to be around them, act more cheery and giving to be on their positive and good side, etc. To do this, we must improve ourselves and be virtuous because of all the other potential people they could interact with over you. Looking at a beautiful man or women literally makes me smile and be in awe.

Subtlety in beautification/ male grooming works better as you age, in my opinion. (Rolling with the ageing process or ageing gracefully as we would call it)
Zain

@thejuice Eating healthy and being as less stressed as possible is enough. You aren't really meant to look beautiful anyway by a certain age. At that point, shouldn't you already have a family?

Someone once told me that we start to wilt after 25. That's the peak 😂

I never thought I'd start using face creams
Zain
Zain
@thejuice Lol. That person was only speaking for themselves.. 🤣

How I wish that was true! 😂 It's the age when we are fully matured and wisdom starts to counterbalance the gradual loss of youthful vigour and beauty

@thejuice You're scaring me. I'm 3 years off 25 and I've not been able to find a girl to hold hands with me when I'm meant to be looking my best.. :D

Mick Jagger had a kid at 73. 😂

Btw if you're gonna study do it now, whilst your brain is a literal sponge for information..

You're a spring chicken don't worry 😀
