You turn off your inside lights, that signals don't come to door. If tiny candy, 2 or 3, or if you like their outfit, l gave a little more. if bigger candy, only one. Less if you have huge amounts of trick or treaters. Candy has become more expensive , so tweak this to fit your needs.
