Also, it looks like plate is partly phasing into the background.

The top piece of the bacon's shadow seems about right. With the pieces underneath having a reduced shadow, proportional to the distance to the plate. Not to mention that overcooked bacon isn't particularly flat or parallel to the plate's surface. If it had been turkey bacon it probably would be much flatter.

That said, it all doesn't look at all appetizing...lol.
