or something like that?
Referral to a dietician doesn't have to mean any one is being blamed.
You could look at a consult with a dietician as an opportunity to add to your health maintenance options.

Meds caused a lot of my weight gain as well, and I hate that fact. When I was on Risperdal I gained 80 lbs in seven months and I still have yet to lose most of it.

As @tree suggested, maybe the dietician was recommended for other reasons other than your weight? Like not BAD reasons but maybe, you know... your cholesterol may be a bit high or something :3

The issue is that there is nothing wrong with my diet. The assumptions they made, based on the questions they asked indicated that they believe I'm eating rubbish. For example I mustn't "make meals from scratch", "Eat vegetables" and must "snack throughout the day". I barely eat more than one meal per day as it is. Weight gain is basically a certainty when taking Quetiapine. I am slowly loosing weight though.
