And then, as if to fall from the starlit night sky, a miracle!! Our friend Steven got us a couple nights at the hotel! Oh, it's not another house, but it's a roof nonetheless and I'll happily take it, rags and all! (As in the old adage of "rags to riches".)

Please get to a safe place. Omg. I can't believe this happened. How is your mom, how is your sister? Try churches, sometimes churches are good. Salvation Army, and St Vincent are worth checking out. The cats, it maybe better to take them to rescue place if taking care of them doesn't workout. Stay in touch. We are here for you. I am so worried.

Thank you for your kind words and support guys. Yes Bella and Zoey are safe, we have a pet carrier now thanks to friend Steven and they have food and water so they are okay. As for SA, hah wouldn't you know it, the ONLY SA building in my hometown was bulldozed... Never heard of St Vincent but there is something called Sister Isaac's where I live...

Maybe Sister Isaac can help find a place, give them a call. Just try all churches, they might come thru. But illegal drugs are allowed, maddog has to follow that. Good luck today.

Check with churches, check with any nonprofit agencies, sometimes drop in centers have a list of resources, or counselor who has list of possible places. Shelters are kinda not good in Florida, just a lot of issues, but shelter maybe okay where you live. Finally some people live in their car until they get money together for a rental. You could check any boards for rentals also.
