    Sigh, mom just said some dumb thing and not really listening to me again. Why is this such a pattern? Especially when it comes to "politics"? I gotta not say things or she'll treat me like my sisters and I don't want that. Constantly keeping the peace here.

    Wrote a short story the other day, the first one this year (not the first one ever). The last one I wrote was in October of 2024. It's only 7-8 pages long but it felt good to write something other than my diary/journal entries.

    I'm so angry that I want to cry and break thing but I gotta keep it together to "keep the peace" within the family.

    It's a long story but here it is as short as I can make it. My dad told me that his brother needed something from me to borrow and I didn't want to give it to him but my mom told me to in order to "keep the peace" and I haven't gotten it back and my dad says he probably sold it without my permission.

    And the day was made worse because insurance is being really stupid. This week is just a mess

    Tomorrow I go for an ultrasound, hopefully nothing serious will show up but I also hope that there will be answers to what's going on with my body.

    Ultrasound wise, everything's good! Nothing abnormal but I'm gonna need more bloodwork done, uhg.

    Yes but I'm gonna have to see an Endocrineologist (sorry if that's spelled wrong), my Thyroid THS levels are very high

    Forgot to update but thankfully everyone is finally feeling healthy! (Knock on wood) Thank you to all who prayed and sent get well wishes! It meant SO MUCH to us!

    I don't want to go in to detail but if you pray can you pray for my family please? My mom and dad are sick and my mom is in the ER. Thanks!

    Thanks everyone! My mom came home later that night after the hospital took her blood and gave her 1 anti nausea med. They made her wait for over 6 hours and NEVER gave her an IV! She's feeling good today though!

    So much drama in the family. Things are "coming to a head" (as my mom says) and I may have to go to court. I'm scared and tired of all the drama my little sister and her boyfriend create and I just don't know what to do. 2025, Off to a great start. (Sarcasm)

    That was short lived. They kept talking to me so I thought I had to reply and they wanted money to make art (and their art looked AI but I can't be certain) and I told them that I didn't have any money and they just stopped talking to me.

    Got a new notebook today as a present! I don't like surprises but this was one of the nice ones.

    Sorry for the late reply but not really. Things are just so out of control, there's no such thing as peace in our home and yesterday and today have been "grey days" as I call it. Sorry, slightly vented, didn't mean to do that but I feel like I shouldn't delete what I typed.

    Ever have a family member force you to send a message to another family member and you don't mean it so you're just in a bad mood and you're like "why do I have to do it?!"

    If I've understood correctly, then yes, unfortunately, my mother would make me do things like that often. But usually I'd have to say it as it was mostly before mobile phones were a thing. I describe it as her using me as a human shield. Not a pleasant experience :-(
