I have the same phone too. I’m sorry to hear your phone broke. That sounds like my luck. I’m also debating to see if I should get the new phone. It looks nice, but it’s technically the same one I have.

New phone would turn an unfortunate incident into a happy new toy. :smilingimp:

That's awful D: I always put my new phone in a case and get someone who works there to apply a screen protector for the two smart phones I've had. I only replaced my old one because it had stopped getting support. I think a 2019 phone should get support for a few years though. Maybe see what the price would be and you can compare the cost of replacing a screen to getting a new phone?

As someone who drops things often (or knocks them off of desks), honestly, whether you go with a new phone or not, definitely get a proper case. I've got a very solid one on mine, and it's been rendered nigh-indestructible.

Dont skimp on price, either. Get a good one. I've dropped mine down a flight of stairs and onto the basement floor, which is made of pure slate tiles (VERY hard material). Also the dog chewed on it. It is fine.
