Slayer were always a bit on the tremendously heavy side for me lol! But if I were in your neck of the woods I would have gone along :-) I haven't been to any gigs in ages. I'm sure you'll find someone to go with though! :-) If not, don't rule out going on your own! I'm sure you'd meet some cool people there! :-)

I most likely will go by myself and have a blast anyway. None of my local friends are Slayer fans.

That's great! :-) Get in the mosh pit, everyone always leaves as best friends from those things! Lol! I remember back in 1996 going to see Marilyn Manson and trying to brave the mosh put until a ballerina wearing army boots landed on my head! :smilecat: I decided to watch from the back with a nice drink of lemonade!

The crowd at the Red Fang concert I went to a couple of months ago was insane. Stage divers, crowd surfers, a massive mosh pit a couple of feet away from me, people climbing on the stage to be immediately escorted to the nearest exit by security, lots of people drunk off $3 Rainier beers, the crowd was fun to watch.

Sounds entertaining! :-) To be honest after the Marilyn Manson show I never went near the mosh put again. I must have been insane, I was 15 and trying to push myself out of my comfort zone lol! It was pretty crazy there too, stage divers, beer flying around and people duly obliging Mr Manson's demands for the crowd to spit on him lol!

If I did not wear glasses, I would be more likely to enter the pit. But glasses are expensive and I like being able to see.

Probably best to keep clear but keep it in view so you can watch the fun from a safer vantage point :-) Then you can discuss the crazy antics with more sane individuals! Lol! The mosh pit isn't the best place for intellectual discourse lol!
