I suggest going for a long walk in a not so crowded part of town and burning some of that off. That usually helps me when I am stressed. Wearing out my body leaves me with no energy to waste on stress, but that’s just me.

I was actually thinking about suggesting that earlier, stress, but I didn't want to pretend to be a doctor. If I wear myself out, I have a few days when I feel like I have a fever and nothing about me is right. It reminds me of a flu. But it's simply exhaustion and just overdoing it so my body says "you're a jerk and I quit!!" and then it quits. So I have to rest for a while. It happens now and then.

Stress hormones are the worst! They can lower your immune function, increase blood pressure, cause weight gain, GI issues and the list goes on.

Bananas contain quite a few stress busting chemicals and they are easy on your digestive system. I'd recommend making some up as smoothies and starting the day with one.

I tend to prefer smoothies when it comes to fruit as I have real issues with textures, particularly bananas.

Out of curiosity, have you ever been evaluated for POTS syndrome? It matches your symptoms and doctors often miss it. If it doesn't seem to fit, then I'm just glad when you are feeling better and stress free!

Stress can be powerful enough for physical symptoms unfortunately. Mine can cause my body temperature to skyrocket and feel fatigue.

@1ofakind No I haven’t, but that’s a great idea! Thank you for suggesting that. I would be so relieved to actually get diagnosed with something and have a concrete answer instead of just getting sent home.
