I also have extremely curly hair. It makes a tangled mess sometimes. I have to slowly detangle with my fingers when it gets bad.

Yeah, the curls can sorta hide when the hair isnt long enough. Mine is mostly straight but then curls a lot towards the ends. A lot of tangles. Brushing tends to be futile.
