Is this unusual for your area?

We never get much snow here. When we do it's often gone within a day. Temperature-wise it can often hover around freezing for a up to a week.

Only a week?

When the temp gets up to freezing during the winter here,
that's pleasant enough. Mild day. I'm not saying it's arctic here
or anything. Just that freezing is pretty ok for a daytime temp
and if it's that high at night, I don't have to put wood in the
wood stove during the night.
