I would help you if I could but remember that the dogs are protecting you. You have the dogs. Maybe you have a flashlight laying around somewhere? So you can light up the area outside and see that there's nothing there.

PTSD makes the simple tasks so difficult, nobody gets that either. It's like we wear scars, emotional scars. Maybe have a plan, l have lots of flashlights everywhere, because l worry about power going out.

Flashlights are handy to have and now they sell those powerful led flashlights. I have a flashlight that lights up 400 yards. And if you point it at someone it's blinding. So if I hear something outside late at night I just light it up with that. It's usually just deer.
